Your role as Account Executive
As Account Executive, you will work at the heart of Shypple’s commercial activities. In this role, you apply consultative selling techniques to understand our prospects' challenges and ambitions within the supply chain and convince them of our added value. Together with the team, you grow the number of new clients.
With our innovative platform, you will have a unique proposition compared to traditional forwarders, allowing the clients to save time and increase efficiency. You are bringing a game-changing and new way of working to the market!
You will be part of the Benelux Sales team, who are in close cooperation with the Operations, Customer Success and the Product development team.
What you’ll be doing
You will rock the world of transport and logistics by offering our disrupting platform;
You understand the needs, challenges, and ambitions of potential clients and help them solve their problems. Together we make trade easier for them;
Spotting opportunities and growth paths for Shypple together with the team;
Generate, receive and follow up leads, you will arrange (demo) meetings and visit companies to introduce the unique high-quality service and software solutions Shypple provides;
You know how to close a deal and together with your account team you will continue to build on the success of Shypple.
What you'll bring
Preferably experience in either sales or consultancy at a logistics or tech company - the rest you will learn on the job!
You live in The Netherlands. We expect you to be at the office in Rotterdam twice a week;
Communication skills in both Dutch and English;
You are tech-savvy and an advocate of smart digitization;
Positive mindset and open to learning a lot and doing things differently;
You are professional, authentic, result-driven and you take ownership in everything you do;
You’ll have a desire to work in a fun and fast-paced environment where you’ll love to embrace different cultures, nationalities, and languages.
