Your role as Technical Business Analyst
As an Technical Business Analyst, you’re a part of the heart of the development team of Shypple. In collaboration with the Product Owner, you will ensure that all the functional requirements of our great new features are mapped and ready for development to work on. Together with development, you’ll convert these features into stories. Once development has finished their work, it’s up to you to verify all requirements are met, guide the release and launch the product working closely with other departments. By documenting our applications you will also make sure that it’s crystal clear to your colleagues how our applications work so they know how to support our customers at all times. And if your colleagues don’t know how things work or they may have found a bug, you’re the go-to person to explain or investigate the issue.
Developing feature requirements: collect, analyze and map feature requirements;
Testing stories: test to make improvements and new features;
Handling bugs: be the go-to-point for bugs and other system related issues and questions;
Launching new features and improvements together with the product owner and/or developers to demonstrate the launched features;
Making sure the functional designs are always up to date by adding new smaller features and/or improvements to the functional designs;
Managing or contributing to smaller IT-related projects that have a large analytical component or are connected to the Shypple application.
Strong experience in documenting technical and business processes. Experience with tool like diagrams.net, JIRA and Confluence are a pre;
Willingness to learn or having experience in testing API's using tools such as Postman is a pre;
Willingness to learn or having experience in SQL using tools such as Metabase is a pre;
Experience and knowledge in working with Scrum and/or other Agile methodologies;
Communication skills in English (verbal and written);
Experience in project management is a pre.
