Your role as Treasurer
The treasurer is part of our Finance team. You are responsible for the company’s liquidity, working capital, corporate structure, foreign exchange and risk management related to the company's financial activities. In this position, you will set up the foundation of the treasury team based on your experience and knowledge. So this role is very much a combination of building and improving while at the same time executing. The current situation has to be assessed, plans have to be made - there is a lot to do in this role! As Shypple is a dynamic scale-up you will also be exposed to many other (financial) parts of the business.
What you’ll be doing
Take full control over cash flow planning, analysis, reporting and improvements for all Shypple group entities;
Improve and automate the group Fx hedging policy;
Assess and manage the (financial) risks of the Shypple group;
Set up tax and cash management policy and procedures;
Contribute to company budgeting, planning and reporting.
What you'll bring
At least 5-10 years of experience as a Treasurer or similar role;
BSc/MSc in finance, accounting or relevant field;
Modeling and analytical skills;
Good knowledge of financial legislation, regulation and practices;
Communication skills in both Dutch and English;
You feel at home in a growing and dynamic start-up/scale-up environment.
Experience in project and improvement management is preferred;
Experience in a startup / scale-up is preferred;
Knowledge of the logistics industry is preferred;
