To continue our success story we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic People Operations Specialist to join our team and support Shypple by contributing to an outstanding Shypple journey.

Your role as People Operations Specialist

As a People Operations Specialist you will work closely with the People & Culture team. You will support and empower our teams in boosting productivity and performance. It’s vital that we give our people the structure and space to add maximum value.

Together with the rest of the team you are responsible for the entire administrative side of People Operations, managing this process from on-boarding to off-boarding and everything in-between, throughout the entire employee journey. In this role you will ensure People processes are efficient and aligned with our Business Strategy and that Shypplers get the support they need on all People related topics. Also, you focus on Employee Experience, organizing events and some office management tasks.

What you’ll be doing

  • Our employees come to you first for day to day People related questions, you handle input for the payroll and employment contracts, you assure data accuracy and reporting.

  • You collect the feedback of our employees and translate those to new improvements in our employee journey and initiate projects about these topics.

  • You work closely with the People and Culture team on programs and initiatives focussed on people development, performance management, training and coaching, organizational development, employee handbook and employee relations.

  • You are the back-up for our office manager who takes care of office/ IT supplies and services related to the offices we work in.


Job requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years’ experience at a HR/People department taking care of the people administration;

  • MBO/HBO in HR management;

  • An accurate and detail-oriented mindset;

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously;

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch - written and spoken;

  • You have a positive attitude and you love working with people!

  • Quick learner and can work effectively in a fast moving environment;

  • You live in or around Rotterdam.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Afas.
