Retain customers, win new business, and negotiate with key accounts together with sales and account management.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement end-to-end logistics solutions for clients.
Develop effective pricing tactics
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations.
Understand our specific vertical and country requirements and negotiate accordingly
Knowledge & Experience
5+ years of significant experience in freight forwarding in procurement and trade lane management
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Knowledge of ocean freight industry including procurement. Carrier background is a plus.
Strong commercial achievements with large and mid-market customers
Strong results in the growth of allocation per carrier and trade lane volumes
Proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Strong data and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders like supplier partners and shippers
