Born and raised in Dongen, Noord-Brabant, Jarell started his company there. After a year, it was time to move to the biggest European port.
Shypple raises $8.5 million from Dutch Founders Fund, Newton Partners via the Imperial Innovation Venture Fund, BOM Brabant Ventures and InnovationQuarter.
Together with Omar Moghrani, Co's nephew, they built the company into a well-known name in the perishables freight forwarding industry.
Milestone set up joint ventures in Central America and China to stay close to the source of many shipments. This helped build strong relationships with local growers and agents.
Co van Es and Juri Falandt recognized the need to digitize and optimize the supply chain, sparking research into digital logistics solutions.
The merger blends Milestone’s logistical expertise with Shypple’s tech-driven approach.
Shypples gives shippers clear CO2e figures for each shipment, both from origin to tank and from tank to destination, and support them with offset and inset options.
